Evening all
So… it has been particularly quiet around here. I apologize for the lack of new content, I’ve just been enjoying the short time I have off between Semesters 1 & 2. Various things have been distracting me from new work lately, here’s the breakdown:
5 Night Drinking Marathon
What better way to celebrate assessment than pull a bender. Its not very often that I get the time or the money to perform these. I think I earned this one though.
Mass Effect 2

Well… I like it, and I will lose entire days enjoying this!
Lost - Season 6

Okay, so this starts tonight, but with whatever time I have left between now and the new semester, this will be taking plenty of it.
Despite this all these wonderful distractions, it is not to say I’ve not been thinking and planning what I want to work on next semester. I’ve had some very tantalizing ideas - I don’t want to reveal much, but I’m thinking BIGGER and BETTER than before. Stand by for some new material soon!
Themeage
Playing with a new theme. Might be a couple of days before I get something solid I like, it’s been a while since I’ve done any web design.
“Ingsoc”
As promised, here is the last part of the ‘Monster Track’ entitled “Ingsoc” from my Ninteen Eighty-Four project. There are a few blunders in this track on my part… but art is mistakes after all.
This part of the track establishes the presence of Ingsoc (English-socialism) within the story - a repeating musical theme representing their ever lasting rule over Oceania.
“Thought Police”
Remember this? I mentioned before that this the full track was about 13 minutes long and divided up into three parts. Now that I have handed this in for assessment I don’t see the harm of posting it here.
This song is the second part of the track from my Nineteen Eighty-Four themed project entitled “Thought Police”. This is an aural telling of the how the books two main characters, Winston and Julia, were deceived and entrapped by the insidious Thought Police of Oceania .
Like the previous one it was recorded using a portable hand recorder, nothing fancy, and you’ll more than likely hear me hitting a few duff notes, but for the most part I hope you enjoy the concept. I’ll be posting part one tomorrow.
